Features & advantages at a glance

Flexible PV integration with low start voltage
The two or three MPPT inputs, each rated at 20A, allow flexible module layouts with up to 200% PV oversizing – ideal for complex roof configurations. Thanks to the particularly low start voltage of 120 V (110–950 V MPPT range), energy generation begins especially early and remains stable even in low irradiation.

Dual battery connection for maximum storage capacity
The inverter has two independent battery connections that, when used in parallel, allow charging power of up to 50A. This lets you scale and flexibly expand your storage system to match growing requirements.

Off-grid capability with EPS function and generator connection
In the event of a power outage, the integrated EPS mode takes over supply to critical loads without interruption. With up to 200% overload capability for 10 seconds and a switchover time of under 10 ms, your power supply stays stable. Operation with a generator is also possible without issue.

200% PV power usable only for battery charging
With 200% PV oversizing, you can install solar modules with up to twice the inverter's rated output. This additional solar power is used exclusively for charging the battery; it does not increase the maximum AC output power to the household grid or utility grid. The benefit is that the system quickly reaches full charging power even in low sunlight, filling your battery effectively. However, once the battery is fully charged and your electricity consumption is low at the same time, the surplus solar energy is not used but curtailed instead. If you want to permanently use high power directly in the household or feed it into the grid, a larger-rated inverter is more economical than pure module oversizing.

No curtailment on unbalanced loads – power usable independent of phase
Thanks to 100% unbalanced-load capability, you can use the inverter's full output flexibly on a single phase while the other phases remain unloaded. This particularly benefits single-phase high-power loads such as heat pumps, EV charging stations or backup circuits, since they receive the full available power whenever needed. Without this capability, a 10 kW inverter would have to split its output evenly across three phases, meaning a maximum of around 3.3 kW would be available per phase. This can lead to bottlenecks and even shut down important devices. With full unbalanced-load capability, you always get the power you need exactly where it is needed – without unnecessary power losses, technical limitations or forced power throttling. This significantly increases your flexibility and supply security in everyday use.

Parallel connection of the SolaX X3 Hybrid G4 PRO
Up to three identical SolaX X3 Hybrid G4 PRO units can be connected directly together. This lets you flexibly increase total output, for example if your power demand grows or a larger PV system is planned. For more than three units (up to ten in total), you need what is known as an EPS Parallel Box. This additional component coordinates the inverters together during power outages and ensures smooth backup power supply. Important: all parallel inverters must be the same model and use identical battery capacities for the system to work optimally and safely.

Suitable for outdoor installation of the entire system (including storage)
The SolaX X3 Hybrid G4 PRO inverter (IP66) and the matching SolaX battery storage units (IP65) can be installed outdoors. Both devices are weatherproof but should be protected from direct sunlight and heavy rain, ideally under a roof. Thanks to the integrated battery heating, your storage system remains fully operational even at temperatures below 0 °C. Ensure adequate ventilation and a stable, dry mounting location – then your system can be used safely outdoors all year round.

High safety standards as standard
Integrated surge protection (Type II, AC & DC) reliably protects your system. AFCI arc-fault detection, which automatically detects and interrupts dangerous arc faults, can be added as an option – an extra measure of fire protection for your system.

Ready for smart grids and dynamic tariffs
The SolaX X3 PRO G4 supports manually flexible operating times for dynamic electricity tariffs (such as Tibber). Tariff entry is currently done manually directly on the device. Automatic adaptation to tariffs can be retrofitted via smart home systems (e.g. Home Assistant) through an open interface (API). Ideal for flexible electricity prices and intelligent energy use. The inverter is also prepared for virtual power plants (VPP) – well equipped for future tariff models and grid services.

Easy installation and clean design
Thoughtfully arranged connection areas, additional communication ports and a functional cable cover ensure fast, clean installation – convincing both technically and visually.

Maximum efficiency and rugged construction
With an efficiency of up to 98.5%, passive cooling and IP66 protection rating, the inverter is ideally suited for indoor and outdoor use – even together with the heated SolaX PV battery storage. It works reliably and efficiently even under demanding conditions.

10-year manufacturer's warranty included
SolaX provides a standard 10-year warranty on all devices in the X3-Hybrid G4 PRO series – a strong sign of quality, durability and investment protection.

Optional accessories

Adapter Box G2:
The Adapter Box G2 allows cost-effective use of your surplus solar power for heating. Simple control of a heating element or heat pump (SG-Ready). It switches on automatically as soon as enough PV power is available. Significantly cheaper than dedicated surplus power controllers (my-PV, Eddi), though less finely tuned.

Wireless Bridge (Wi-BR):
The Wireless Bridge connects your inverter wirelessly to the electricity meter. Ideal when running a cable is difficult. This way, your inverter reliably monitors consumption and feed-in even over longer distances, without extensive wiring.

Pocket WiFi/LAN dongle:
The pocket dongle connects your system to the SolaX Cloud. This lets you conveniently monitor yield, battery status and consumption via app – anywhere, anytime. WiFi or a LAN cable ensure a stable connection. Essential for system monitoring and updates.

X3 EPS Box:
In the event of a power outage, the EPS Box automatically supplies three-phase backup power to your entire house. Without it, your inverter shuts down in the event of a grid failure. The box safely disconnects from the grid and supplies your house directly from PV and battery – a genuine gain in comfort and safety.

SolaX EV Charger (wallbox):
The SolaX wallbox charges your electric car directly with surplus PV power. Fully integrated into the SolaX system, no additional devices required. Various charging modes available: surplus charging, eco or fast charging. Simple, practical and especially convenient.

DataHub 1000:
The DataHub 1000 centrally coordinates larger PV systems and multiple inverters. It manages feed-in limits, controls load distribution and stores system data locally. Ideal for complex installations or commercial applications; usually optional for private use.

Consolinno Energy Manager:
The Consolinno Energy Manager connects SolaX devices with third-party manufacturers and smart home systems. It enables complex automation for PV surplus, heating systems or dynamic electricity tariffs. Perfect for users who want maximum flexibility and control.
