For data transfers to Canada, an adequate level of data protection is ensured by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
4) Cookies
To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored on your device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted after you close your browser ("session cookies"), while others remain on your device for longer and allow page settings to be saved ("persistent cookies"). In the latter case, you can find the storage period in the overview of the cookie settings in your web browser.
If personal data is also processed by individual cookies used by us, the processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the performance of the contract, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where consent has been granted, or pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the website visit.
You can configure your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide individually whether to accept them, or exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or generally.
Please note that if cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be restricted.
5) Contacting Us
5.1 Lime Connect
This website uses a live chat system from the following provider: Lime Connect (Userlike) GmbH, Kölnturm, Im Mediapark 8, 50670 Cologne, Germany.
Personal data transmitted via the chat is processed either pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR because it is necessary for initiating or performing a contract, or pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in effectively supporting visitors to our website.
Subject to any conflicting statutory retention periods, the data you transmit in this way will be deleted once the matter concerned has been conclusively resolved.
In addition, further information may be collected and evaluated using cookies for the purpose of creating pseudonymised usage profiles. However, this information is not used to identify you personally and is not combined with other data sets. If this information is personal data, processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in statistical analysis of user behaviour for optimisation purposes.
The setting of cookies can be prevented by appropriate browser settings. In this case, however, the functionality of our website may be restricted. You may object to the collection and storage of data for the purpose of creating a pseudonymised usage profile at any time with effect for the future.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.
5.2 WhatsApp Business
You have the option of contacting us via the WhatsApp messaging service provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. For this purpose, we use the "Business version" of WhatsApp.
If you contact us via WhatsApp in connection with a specific transaction (for example, an order you have placed), we store and use the mobile telephone number you use on WhatsApp and, if provided, your first and last name pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in order to process and respond to your enquiry. On the basis of the same legal basis, we may ask you via WhatsApp to provide further data (order number, customer number, address or email address) so that we can assign your enquiry to a specific transaction.
If you use our WhatsApp contact for general enquiries (for example, about our range of services, availability or our website), we store and use the mobile telephone number you use on WhatsApp and, if provided, your first and last name pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in efficiently and promptly providing the requested information.
Your data will always be used only to answer your enquiry via WhatsApp. It will not be disclosed to third parties.
Please note that WhatsApp Business gains access to the address book of the mobile device we use for this purpose and automatically transfers telephone numbers stored in the address book to a server of its parent company Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA. To operate our WhatsApp Business account, we use a mobile device whose address book contains only the WhatsApp contact details of users who have also contacted us via WhatsApp.
This ensures that every person whose WhatsApp contact details are stored in our address book has already consented, when first using the app on their device and accepting the WhatsApp terms of use, to the transmission of their WhatsApp telephone number from the address books of their chat contacts pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. The transmission of data relating to users who do not use WhatsApp and/or have not contacted us via WhatsApp is therefore excluded.
For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by WhatsApp, as well as your rights and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to WhatsApp's privacy information: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/?eea=1#privacy-policy
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that protects the data of our website visitors and prohibits disclosure to third parties.
As part of the processing described above, data may be transferred to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.
5.3 When you contact us (e.g. via contact form or email), personal data is processed solely for the purpose of handling and responding to your enquiry and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.
The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, an additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted when the circumstances indicate that the matter concerned has been conclusively resolved and provided there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.
6) Data Processing When Opening a Customer Account
Pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, personal data is collected and processed to the extent necessary if you provide it to us when opening a customer account. The data required to open an account can be found in the input form on our website.
You may delete your customer account at any time by sending a message to the controller at the address stated above. After your customer account has been deleted, your data will be deleted provided that all contracts concluded via the account have been fully processed, there are no statutory retention periods to the contrary and we have no legitimate interest in continued storage.
7) Use of Customer Data for Direct Advertising
7.1 Subscription to our email newsletter
If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers. The only mandatory information required for sending the newsletter is your email address. By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to use your personal data pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. We store the IP address recorded by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), as well as the date and time of registration, so that any misuse of your email address can be traced at a later date. The data collected by us when you subscribe to the newsletter is used strictly for the intended purpose.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided in the newsletter or by sending an appropriate message to the controller named above. After unsubscribing, your email address will be deleted from our newsletter distribution list without undue delay unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this scope where permitted by law and about which we inform you in this privacy policy.
7.2 Sending the email newsletter to existing customers
If you have provided us with your email address when purchasing goods or services, we reserve the right to regularly send you offers by email for goods or services similar to those already purchased from our range. Pursuant to Section 7(3) UWG, we do not need to obtain separate consent from you for this purpose. In this respect, data processing is carried out solely on the basis of our legitimate interest in personalised direct advertising pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you initially objected to the use of your email address for this purpose, we will not send you such emails.
You are entitled to object to the use of your email address for the aforementioned advertising purpose at any time with effect for the future by notifying the controller named at the beginning. You will only incur transmission costs according to the basic tariffs. After receipt of your objection, use of your email address for advertising purposes will be discontinued without undue delay.

If, on the basis of a corresponding contract, we owe you updates for goods with digital elements or for digital products, we process the contact details you provided when placing the order in order to inform you personally within the scope of our statutory information obligations pursuant to Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Your contact details will be used strictly for the purpose of notifications about updates owed by us and will only be processed by us to the extent necessary for the respective information.
8.2 To fulfil our contractual obligations, we may use direct shipping by suppliers (dropshipping). For this purpose, we pass your name and delivery address to a supplier selected by us exclusively for the purpose of delivering the goods pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
If the delivery concerns goods that cannot be shipped as parcels (freight goods, bulky goods, etc.) and prior telephone coordination of a delivery date is required, we will also pass your telephone number to the supplier pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

In order to safeguard our legitimate interest in determining your ability to pay in such cases, we forward this data to the provider for the purpose of a credit check pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. On the basis of the personal data you provide and further data (such as shopping cart, invoice amount, order history and payment experience), the provider checks whether the payment option selected by you can be granted with regard to payment and/or default risk.
The credit report may contain probability values ("score values"). Where score values are included in the result of the credit assessment, they are based on a scientifically recognised mathematical-statistical procedure. Address data, among other things but not exclusively, is included in the calculation of the score values.

9) Online Marketing
Google AdSense
This website uses Google AdSense, an online advertising service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). Google AdSense uses cookies, i.e. text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. In addition, Google AdSense also uses "web beacons" (small invisible graphics) to collect information, through which simple actions such as visitor traffic on the website can be recorded, collected and evaluated. The information generated by the cookie and/or web beacon about your use of this website (including your IP address) is generally transmitted to a Google server and stored there. This may also involve transmission to servers of Google LLC in the USA.
Google uses the information obtained in this way to evaluate your usage behaviour with regard to AdSense advertisements. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google AdSense is not merged with other Google data. The information collected by Google may be transferred to third parties where required by law and/or where such third parties process the data on Google's behalf.
All processing described above, in particular the reading of information on the device used via cookies and/or web beacons, is carried out only if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without this consent, Google AdSense will not be used during your visit to our website.
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.
Further information on Google's privacy provisions can be found here: https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/ and https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/
10) Web Analytics Services
10.1 Google Analytics 4
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), which enables analysis of your use of our website.
By default, when you visit the website, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies, which are small text elements stored on your device and which collect certain information. This information includes your IP address, although Google truncates the final digits in order to prevent direct personal identification.
The information is transferred to Google servers and processed there. Transfers to Google LLC, based in the USA, are also possible.
Google uses the information collected on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activities for us and provide other services associated with website and internet use. The truncated IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. Data collected through the use of Google Analytics 4 is stored for two months and then deleted.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies on the device used, is carried out only if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Without your consent, Google Analytics 4 will not be used during your visit to our website. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of withdrawal, please deactivate this service using the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google that ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.
Further legal information on Google Analytics 4 can be found at https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/, https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Demographic characteristics
Google Analytics 4 uses the special "demographic characteristics" function and can use it to generate statistics that provide information about the age, gender and interests of website visitors. This is done by analysing advertising and information from third-party providers. This allows target groups to be identified for marketing activities. However, the collected data cannot be assigned to a specific person and is deleted after being stored for two months.
Google Signals
As an extension to Google Analytics 4, Google Signals may be used on this website to create cross-device reports. If you have enabled personalised advertisements and linked your devices to your Google account, Google may, subject to your consent to the use of Google Analytics pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, analyse your usage behaviour across devices and create database models, including cross-device conversions. We do not receive personal data from Google, only statistics. If you wish to stop cross-device analysis, you can deactivate the "Personalised advertising" function in your Google account settings. To do so, follow the instructions on this page: https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155764?hl=de
Further information on Google Signals can be found at: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7532985?hl=de
User IDs
As an extension to Google Analytics 4, the "User IDs" function may be used on this website. If you have consented to the use of Google Analytics 4 pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, have created an account on this website and log in to that account on different devices, your activities, including conversions, can be analysed across devices.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.
10.2 Google Tag Manager
This website uses "Google Tag Manager", a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter "Google").
Google Tag Manager provides the technical basis for combining various web applications, including tracking and analytics services, and for configuring, controlling and applying conditions to them via a uniform user interface. Google Tag Manager itself does not store information on users' devices or read information from them. Nor does the service carry out independent data analyses. However, when a page is accessed, Google Tag Manager transmits your IP address to Google, where it may be stored. Transmission to servers of Google LLC in the USA is also possible.
This processing is carried out only if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without this consent, Google Tag Manager will not be used during your visit to our website. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your withdrawal, please deactivate this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.
Further legal information on Google Tag Manager can be found at https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/ and https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de
10.3 PayPal Marketing Solutions
This website uses the web analytics service of the following provider: PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg.
Using cookies and/or comparable technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, algorithms for reading device and browser information), the service collects and stores pseudonymised visitor data, including information about the device used such as the IP address and browser information, in order to evaluate it for statistical analyses of usage behaviour on our website and to create pseudonymised usage profiles. Among other things, this allows movement patterns ("heat maps") to be evaluated, showing the duration of page visits and interactions with page content (e.g. text input, scrolling, clicks and mouse-overs). Pseudonymisation generally prevents direct personal identification. The data is not combined with clear personal data about you collected by other means.
All processing described above, in particular the reading or storage of information on the device used, is carried out only if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.
11) Retargeting/Remarketing and Conversion Tracking
11.1 releva.nz
This website uses retargeting technology from the following provider: releva GmbH, Feilnerstr. 10, 10969 Berlin, Germany.
This makes it possible to address visitors to our websites who have already shown an interest in our shop and our products with targeted, personalised, interest-based advertising. Advertising material is displayed on the basis of a cookie-based analysis of previous and current usage behaviour.
When retargeting technology is used, a cookie is stored on your computer or mobile device in order to collect pseudonymised data about your interests and adapt advertising individually to the stored information. These cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device. This allows you to be shown advertising that is highly likely to match your product and information interests.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, is carried out only if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without this consent, retargeting technology will not be used during your visit to our website.
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your withdrawal, please deactivate this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
11.2 Google Ads Conversion Tracking
This website uses the online advertising programme "Google Ads" and, as part of Google Ads, conversion tracking provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). We use Google Ads to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites with the help of advertising material (known as Google Ads). In relation to the data from the advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful individual advertising measures are. Our aim is to show you advertising that is of interest to you, make our website more interesting for you and achieve a fair calculation of the advertising costs incurred.
The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. These cookies generally expire after 30 days and are not used to identify you personally. If the user visits certain pages of this website while the cookie is still valid, Google and we can recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies therefore cannot be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie, which also includes your IP address, is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page containing a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that can be used to personally identify users. When Google Ads is used, personal data may also be transferred to servers of Google LLC in the USA.
Details of the processing triggered by Google Ads conversion tracking and Google's handling of data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, is carried out only if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
You can also permanently object to the setting of cookies by Google Ads conversion tracking by downloading and installing the Google browser plug-in available at the following link:
https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155656?hl=de
Please note that certain functions of this website may not be available or may only be available to a limited extent if you have disabled the use of cookies.
Google's privacy provisions can be viewed here: https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/ and https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.
12) Website Functions
12.1 YouTube
This website uses plugins for displaying and playing videos from the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.
Data may also be transferred to: Google LLC, USA.
When you access a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the provider's servers, at the latest when video playback begins, in order to load the content. Certain information, including your IP address, is transmitted to the provider.
If playback of embedded videos is started via the plugin, the provider also sets cookies to collect information about user behaviour, compile playback statistics and prevent abusive behaviour.
If you are logged into a user account with the provider while visiting our website, your data will be directly assigned to your account when you click on a video. If you do not want the data to be associated with your account, you must log out before activating playback.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, is carried out only if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service via the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

When you access a page of our website that contains such graphic elements, your browser establishes a direct connection to the provider's servers in order to load the elements correctly. Certain browser information, including your IP address, is transmitted to the provider.
If personal data is also processed in this context, processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in optimally marketing our offer and presenting our website in an attractive manner.
Further processing may occur if you place an online order with us.
Depending on your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, after completion of an order the Trustbadge transmits your order information (order total, order number, and where applicable the product purchased) and your email address to the provider in encrypted form in order to check whether you already have a registration for the provider's services (in particular "Buyer Protection") and, where applicable, enable a new registration.
If an existing registration is identified or a new registration is made with the provider for its services (in particular Buyer Protection), your order information (order total, order number, product purchased) and your email address are transmitted to the provider and further processed by it pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR on the basis of the contractual agreement with the provider in order to provide the services (in particular Buyer Protection).

We use the following provider to conduct online meetings, video conferences and/or webinars: Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399 USA.
The provider processes various data, with the scope of the processed data depending on the data you provide before or during participation in an online meeting, video conference or webinar. Your data is processed as a communication participant and stored on the provider's servers. This may include, in particular, your registration data (name, email address, telephone number (optional) and password) and meeting data (subject, participant IP address, device information, description (optional)).
In addition, image and audio contributions from participants as well as text or voice input in chats may be processed.
For the processing of personal data necessary for the performance of a contract with you (this also applies to processing necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR serves as the legal basis. If you have given us consent to process your data, processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
In all other respects, the legal basis for data processing when conducting online meetings, video conferences or webinars is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in efficiently conducting the online meeting, webinar or video conference.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.

This website uses a "cookie consent tool" to obtain valid user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications that require consent. The "cookie consent tool" is displayed to users when they access the website in the form of an interactive user interface in which consent can be given for certain cookies and/or cookie-based applications by ticking boxes. By using the tool, all cookies/services that require consent are loaded only if the respective user gives the corresponding consent by ticking the relevant boxes. This ensures that such cookies are set on the user's device only if consent has been granted.
The tool sets technically necessary cookies to store your cookie preferences. As a rule, no personal user data is processed in this context.
If, in individual cases, personal data (such as the IP address) is nevertheless processed for the purpose of storing, assigning or logging cookie settings, this is carried out pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in lawful, user-specific and user-friendly consent management for cookies and therefore in a legally compliant design of our website.
A further legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. As the controller, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically non-essential cookies dependent on the respective user's consent.
Where necessary, we have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.
Further information about the operator and the setting options of the cookie consent tool can be found directly in the corresponding user interface on our website.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL STOP PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED. HOWEVER, FURTHER PROCESSING REMAINS RESERVED IF WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS.

15) Duration of Storage of Personal Data
The duration for which personal data is stored is determined by the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing and - where applicable - additionally by the respective statutory retention period (e.g. retention periods under commercial and tax law).
Where personal data is processed on the basis of express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, the data concerned is stored until you withdraw your consent.
If statutory retention periods apply to data processed in connection with contractual or similar obligations on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, this data will routinely be deleted after the retention periods expire, provided it is no longer required for performance or initiation of the contract and/or we no longer have a legitimate interest in continued storage.
Where personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, this data is stored until you exercise your right to object pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Where personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, this data is stored until you exercise your right to object pursuant to Art. 21(2) GDPR.
Unless otherwise stated in the other information in this privacy policy concerning specific processing situations, stored personal data is otherwise deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
