The Zigbee-to-RS485 converter wirelessly connects a Victron energy meter to a GX device (e.g. Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX). This eliminates the need for fixed RS485 cabling between the smart meter and the GX device – practical when the two components are installed in different locations.

The converter is connected to the RS485 port of the energy meter and communicates wirelessly with the matching Zigbee-to-USB converter on the GX device.
