Victron Energy MEGA Fuse

80 V replaces 58 V – also for your 48 V equipment

Victron no longer includes the 58 V range for 48 V products in its current portfolio. It has been replaced by the 80 V range, which fully covers 48 V systems. A DC fuse’s rated voltage must be at least as high as the system voltage, so an 80 V fuse is safely rated for a 48 V battery system.

Nothing else changes when you switch: the design and dimensions are identical (9 × 19 × 67 mm), and the fuse fits the same MEGA fuse holders. Simply replace a 58 V fuse with an 80 V model of the same current rating, such as 250 A/58 V with 250 A/80 V.

The reverse is not permitted: 32 V fuses must not be used in 48 V systems. Never use a fuse whose rated voltage is lower than the system voltage.
