Battery "fuel gauge", remaining-time indicator and much more

The remaining battery capacity depends on the amp-hours consumed, the discharge current, the temperature and the age of the battery. Complex software algorithms are required to take all of these variables into account.

Besides basic display options such as voltage, current and amp-hours consumed, the BMV-700 series also shows the state of charge, the remaining runtime and the power consumption in watts.

The BMV-702 has an additional input that can be programmed to measure voltage (of a second battery), temperature or mid-point voltage.

Bluetooth Smart

With the Bluetooth Smart dongle, you can monitor your batteries via an Apple or Android smartphone, tablet, Macbook or other devices.

Easy installation

All electrical connections are made using the PCB connector on the current shunt. The shunt is connected to the monitor via a standard RJ12 telephone cable. Included in the scope of delivery: RJ12 cable (10 m) and battery cable with fuse (2 m); no further components are required.

Also included are a separate front cover for a square or round display, a safety ring for rear-panel mounting and screws for front-panel mounting.

Easy programming (with your smartphone!)

A quick-installation menu and a detailed, scrollable setup menu assist the user in making the various settings.

Alternatively, a quick and simple solution is also available: download the smartphone app for this (Bluetooth Smart dongle required).
