Victron Energy BatteryProtect 12/24V-65A

The task of the Victron battery monitor BatteryProtect is to disconnect the battery from less important loads, so that the battery is not fully discharged and is protected from damage. This also ensures that enough energy remains available to start the engine.

The device from Victron Energy is not designed for reverse currents from chargers.

Highlights of the Victron Battery Protect BP-65

  • Automatic detection of the 12/24V voltage range
  • Quick programming - set several voltages at which the BatteryProtect switches on or off
  • 7-segment display - immediately see which settings have been selected
  • Lithium-ion battery mode - the Victron Battery Protect can be controlled via the VE.Bus BMS
  • Very low power consumption - important for lithium-ion batteries, especially after switch-off due to a low voltage level
  • Overvoltage protection - the load is switched off when the DC voltage exceeds 16 or 32V, so that sensitive consumers are not damaged by overvoltage
  • Explosion protection - MOSFET switch (no relay) and therefore no spark formation
