Key Features of the "Flex All-Rounder" Premium PV System

Qcells Q.TRON 500 Wp – latest-generation glass-glass panels
The monocrystalline Q.ANTUM NEO N-type half-cells achieve a module efficiency of up to 23.2% and deliver stable yields even in low light and at high temperatures. The glass-glass construction with 2 mm tempered, anti-reflective-coated front glass permanently protects the cells against moisture and micro-cracks; Anti-LeTID, Anti-PID and Hot-Spot Protect safeguard performance for decades. Certified for 5,400 Pa snow load and 2,400 Pa wind load. Qcells provides a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year linear performance warranty.

Solis S5-GR3P 20 kW – efficient string inverter for direct consumption
The three-phase Solis string inverter feeds the solar power directly into the home network at up to 98.3% efficiency – ideal for the high daytime consumption of farms and commercial businesses. Type II surge protection for DC and AC, integrated arc-fault protection (AFCI) and IP66 protection rating make the unit safe and durable; Solis provides a 10-year warranty.

Three Victron MultiPlus-II 8000 – genuine three-phase power with ample power reserves
Three MultiPlus-II 8000 units work in parallel across three phases. Each phase can be used independently – with no throttling from unbalanced-load limits. Heavy loads such as heat pumps, workshop machinery or multiple EV chargers run reliably, briefly with significant power reserves above the rated output. In the event of a power outage, the MultiPlus-II units step in seamlessly (UPS function) and keep the building supplied with backup power.

Victron SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/200 – four trackers, maximum yield
Four independent MPP trackers optimise up to four solar array segments separately – east, south, west or partially shaded areas don't hold each other back. The charge controller charges the 48 V batteries with up to 200 A (11.5 kW) and up to 99% efficiency directly via DC – so solar power also flows into the storage during off-grid operation. The wide PV input range of 80 to 450 V allows for long module strings; galvanic isolation between PV and battery increases system safety. The best of both worlds: inverter-level efficiency for direct consumption, charge-controller-level efficiency for DC charging.

Pylontech US5000 – safe 48 V storage, modularly expandable
The lithium iron phosphate batteries (4.8 kWh each) operate at a safe low voltage and are among the best-selling home storage systems worldwide. Each module comes with its own battery management system – additional modules are simply plugged in, with no expensive extra components required. The included battery cabinet (32U) ensures a tidy, safe installation of the nine storage modules.

100% on-grid and off-grid
The system runs on the public grid just as well as fully self-sufficiently – thanks to the DC charge controller, solar power also flows into the storage during off-grid operation. When connected to the grid, it handles self-consumption optimisation and uninterrupted backup power.

Open for existing systems and any kind of expansion
The Victron system integrates existing PV inverters from almost any manufacturer (AC coupling) – ideal for adding storage and backup power to an existing system without losing the investment already made. Additional Victron charge controllers can be integrated via VE.Can and VE.Direct if further module arrays are added. A huge range of 48 V storage systems is also compatible – from LiFePO4 to lead-acid/gel.

Intelligent energy management built in
The Cerbo GX controls the system and connects it to the free Victron VRM portal: everything viewable and adjustable, from anywhere. Forecast-based charging uses weather data and consumption history; dynamic electricity tariffs such as Tibber or aWATTar can be entered directly – charging takes place during the cheapest hours, discharging during high prices. Heat pumps (SG-Ready, Modbus, MQTT) and EV chargers can be integrated, so surplus power flows specifically into hot water or the electric car.
