In addition, its innovative design and novel communication concept offer numerous advantages during installation and commissioning. Direct communication with the SMA Energy Meter enables not only the 70 percent feed-in limitation required in Germany, but also curtailment down to 0 percent.

Simple thanks to a new installation concept

The innovative design of the Sunny Boy 1.5-2.5 allows not only for simple installation but also for quick DC and AC connection. For example, at a weight of just 9 kg, it is simply hung on two screws – with no additional wall bracket required. Commissioning is just as easy, as the necessary settings can be made in no time via the integrated user interface (Web UI) – without opening the cover.
