Fronius GEN24 Surge Protection Type I + II
The type 1+2 surge protection device for direct and indirect lightning strikes is suitable for use with the Fronius Symo GEN24 Plus and Fronius Primo GEN24 Plus inverters (all power classes). It fulfils the standard's requirement to install DC surge protection close to the inverter.
This retrofit kit can be used on all units equally, regardless of whether 1 or 2 trackers are used. When operating with only one tracker, one input on the surge protection device remains unused.
Thanks to the adjustable, integrated remote signalling function, you receive an automatic notification via the Fronius Solar.web online portal whenever the surge protection device is triggered.
The surge protection device can be retrofitted into the inverter's connection area within just a few minutes.
