Detailed Description

Easy scaling and installation

The powerful high-voltage PV storage FoxESS ECS2900 series offers a storage capacity of 5.76 to 20.16 kWh. It consists of the base module CM2900 with integrated battery management system and the additional CS2900 battery modules.

The ECS2900 complete system can be modularly expanded with no time limit up to 20.16 kWh ( 6x CS2900 + 1x CM2900 with BMS). The overall height of the PV storage system is 0.95 m. The modules can be expanded at any time, giving you independence in configuring and extending your storage system.

Thanks to plug & play installation the high-voltage PV storage is quickly commissioned. The individual PV storage modules simply plug into one another without cables. A 1.2 m data cable and a 1.2 m battery connection cable are included. This means no additional cables are required for commissioning.

Important: To operate with the Fox ESS H1 hybrid inverter, at least two PV storage modules are required, one CM2900 base module and one CS2900 battery module (min. 5.76 kWh). For combination with the H3 and H3 Pro hybrid inverters, you need at least three PV storage modules, one CM2900 base module and two CS2900 battery modules (min. 8.64 kWh).

Versatile and long-lasting

Thanks to the high IP65 protection rating the ECS2900-H2 to H7 high-voltage PV storage units are suitable for outdoor installation and can therefore also be operated in a garage or under a carport roof. The particularly wide operating range of -10°C to +55°C (from around 0°C/15°C, discharge only) allows for flexible year-round use.

The ECS2900-H2 to H7 PV storage system impresses with durable LiFePO4 PV batteries offering a cyclic depth of discharge of up to 6,000 cycles enabling a usable depth of discharge of 90% for self-sufficient solar energy use.

The prismatic LFP cells used for energy storage ensure a long service life. Compared with other lithium-ion cell technologies, they also offer the highest level of safety.

The innovative natural convection cooling of the ECS2900-H2 to H7 PV storage system ensures quiet operation, significantly extends the service life of your battery, and is also gentle on the environment.
