The Battery-Box Premium LVS is the new generation of BYD battery storage systems and, compared to its predecessor, offers not only all previous functions but also higher storage capacities. Thanks to further development of the cell technology, weight has been reduced by almost 30 percent and depth by 8 cm, giving the new battery storage system a slimmer look and requiring less space.

The BYD B-Box Premium LVS is aimed at optimizing self-consumption for on-grid and off-grid applications in the residential and commercial market.

The new battery storage system also has protection class IP55. This means the BYD B-Box Premium LVS 4.0 can also be used outdoors.

Flexible and Scalable

Since the BYD battery has a modular design, the storage system can be expanded later in 4 kWh increments. Up to 6 battery modules fit into one battery housing. This allows capacities of 4.0 kWh to 24.00 kWh to be achieved.

For maximum flexibility, up to 64 modules (16 x LVS 16.0) can be connected in parallel in total, achieving a total capacity of 256 kWh.

Connecting several towers in parallel is only possible with 1 to 4 modules per tower. The LVS 20.0 and LVS 24.0 run as a single tower. A power distribution unit and a base are required per tower.

The BYD Battery-Box Premium LVS 4.0 is compatible with market-leading single- and three-phase inverters, e.g. from SolarEdge.
