Battery management system for BYD HVS and HVM
The battery management system is an essential component of both Battery-Box Premium HVS and HVM systems. It monitors and optimises battery-module performance and condition, including cell voltage, temperature and current. Intelligent charging and discharging control helps protect against overcharging, deep discharge and other potentially harmful operating conditions, supporting efficiency, safety and service life.
BYD HVS
A Battery-Box Premium HVS consists of two to five HVS modules connected in series, providing 5.1 to 12.8 kWh. Up to three identical HVS towers can be connected in parallel for a maximum total capacity of 38.4 kWh. Additional modules or parallel towers can be added later within the manufacturer's approved configuration.
BYD HVM
A Battery-Box Premium HVM consists of three to eight HVM modules connected in series, providing 8.3 to 22.1 kWh. Up to three identical HVM systems can be connected in parallel for a maximum total capacity of 66.2 kWh. The system can be expanded later with additional modules or parallel towers, subject to BYD's requirements.
