The BYD B-Box Premium HV BCU with Base 2.0 forms the command center of every BYD high-voltage storage system. It is mandatory for operating the HVS+ and HVM+ series and controls all communication between the battery towers and the inverter.
The BCU handles cell balancing, voltage monitoring and temperature control, permanently protecting the battery modules from overload. The Base 2.0 additionally ensures a stable footing and correct grounding of the tower. Thanks to externally mounted RJ45 and MC4 connector ports, the previously required removal of the cover plate is no longer needed, making installation significantly faster. Compatible with hybrid inverters from Solis, GoodWe, Fronius (GEN24 Plus) and Kostal (Plenticore Plus).
