Irradiance and Temperature Meter Benning SUN 3 (11001143)
Irradiance and temperature meter with long range thanks to LoRa radio technology (Long Range). Ideal for planning as well as for supporting the commissioning and periodic testing of grid-connected PV systems in accordance with VDE 0126-23 (DIN EN 62446) and for testing thermal solar systems.
Measuring functions
- Solar irradiance measurement (irradiance) in W/m² via a calibrated photovoltaic reference cell
- 2-channel temperature sensor for PV module and ambient temperature
- Digital compass to determine the cardinal direction
- Tilt angle meter to determine roof and module inclination
Features
- Long-range LoRa radio connection (approx. 150 m in open terrain) to the BENNING PV 125 installation tester – irradiance and temperature values are stored with every measurement
- Integrated data logger for 5,000 data sets with real-time clock and date/time stamp
- USB interface for data download
Important: The radio connection of the BENNING SUN 3 is only compatible with the BENNING PV 125. For the PV 1-1+, PV 2 and PV 3 testers, please use the BENNING SUN 2 (050420). Matching accessories: suction-cup temperature probe (050424) and PV module mount (050425).
