Photovoltaic Installation Tester Benning PV 1-1+ (05042101)

For standards-compliant installation and periodic testing of grid-connected photovoltaic systems in accordance with VDE 0126-23 (DIN EN 62446). The device is recommended for solar installers, photovoltaic experts, and service, cleaning and maintenance teams.

The BENNING PV 1-1+ is the further development of the proven PV 1-1: improved test compatibility with PV modules using the latest cell technologies, 300% higher protection against transient short-circuit currents caused by high module capacitances, and a modified housing with an all-round rubber protector and mounting eyelets for a carrying strap for hands-free working.

Measuring functions

• Protective conductor resistance measurement with 200 mA test current (0.05 – 199 ohms)
• Open-circuit voltage measurement of solar modules / PV strings up to 1,000 V DC with automatic polarity indication
• Safe short-circuit current measurement up to 15 A DC, hazard-free for the user, via internal circuitry
• Insulation resistance measurement with adjustable test voltage (250 V, 500 V, 1,000 V) up to 199 MΩ
• Function test via current measurement up to 40 A AC/DC (optional clamp adapter BENNING CC 3, item no. 044038)
• Display and storage of solar irradiance and PV module/ambient temperature (optional BENNING SUN 2, item no. 050420)
