2,000 Wp Full Black Balcony Power Plant with Anker SOLIX Solarbank 3 Pro

The 2,000 Wp balcony power plant is the recommended complete set with storage when you want to make full use of the registration-free module output. Four bifacial glass-glass panels from Sunpro, each rated at 500 Wp, together reach exactly 2,000 Wp and thus stay within the limit for registration-free plug-in solar devices – combined with the Anker SOLIX Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro, which combines storage and inverter in a single device. New in the set: the Anker SOLIX Smart Meter Gen 2.

The set is designed for registration-free operation: up to 800 W feed-in power and 2,000 Wp module output, no registration with the grid operator is required. What remains mandatory is the free entry in the Market Master Data Register (Marktstammdatenregister, MaStR) – this can be completed online in just a few minutes.

Storage, inverter & backup power in a single device

The Anker SOLIX Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro stores surplus midday solar power for the evening – with a 2.7 kWh LiFePO4 battery (IP65, long-lasting and weatherproof). Controlled by the included Smart Meter Gen 2, it automatically adjusts its feed-in to match actual household consumption, so as much solar power as possible stays in the home. In the event of a power outage, the off-grid output keeps connected devices running – for example a router, lighting or a refrigerator.

New in the set: Anker SOLIX Smart Meter Gen 2

Included in the scope of delivery is the Anker SOLIX Smart Meter Gen 2 (AE1X0311, three-phase) – the current meter generation, not the previous model. It measures household consumption on all three phases in real time and reports the values to the Solarbank, which adjusts its output power within around 3 seconds. The result: a higher self-consumption rate and less unused feed-in to the grid.

Compared with the first generation, the Gen 2 is around 50% slimmer at just 19 mm in height, so it also fits into already tightly packed meter cabinets. Wiring is done via tool-free Weidmüller SNAP-IN terminals, with connectivity via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or RS-485. Accuracy class 1, around 2 W self-consumption, current transformers with a 63 A or 120 A opening. Mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail.

Installation note: The smart meter is installed in the fuse box or meter cabinet. Under VDE regulations and § 13 NAV (German Low-Voltage Connection Ordinance), this work may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Expandable up to 16.1 kWh

The storage grows with your needs: with the Anker SOLIX BP2700 expansion battery, capacity can be scaled tool-free from 2.7 kWh up to 16.1 kWh.

Bifacial glass-glass panels with 500 Wp

The panels, type Sunpro SPDG500-N120R10, use N-type TOPCon cells and achieve an efficiency of 22.55%. Two 2 mm-thick glass panes permanently protect the cells from micro-cracks, moisture and UV – tested for snow loads up to 5,400 Pa and wind loads up to 2,400 Pa. Via the transparent rear side, the panels additionally capture reflected light from the surface beneath them, delivering up to 15% extra yield depending on installation. A black frame and dark front blend unobtrusively into facades or balcony railings. Sunpro provides a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year linear performance warranty, with at least 87.4% residual output guaranteed after 30 years.

Each panel on its own MPP tracker

The Solarbank 3 Pro has four MPP trackers (32 A, 16–60 V each). In this set, each of the four panels gets its own tracker: shading on one panel does not reduce the yield of the others. In total, the device can handle up to 3,600 W of solar power.

Important: mounting hardware sold separately

Mounting hardware is not included in the set. The panels measure 1,955 × 1,134 mm and weigh 26.5 kg. For square railings up to 80 mm, we recommend the NuaSol square balcony mount; for round railings, the NuaSol round balcony mount. For flat roofs, terraces or gardens, the NuaSol ground/tilt mount with 30°–60° tilt is available. Each mount holds two panels – so two mounts are needed for this set.
