Growatt Error Codes | 200 to 399

Error 201 – Residual current too high
Cause: Leakage current exceeds the permitted value.
Solution: Restart the inverter. If the problem remains, contact support so a service case can be opened with the manufacturer.

Error 202 – DC voltage too high
Cause: The inverter's DC input voltage exceeds the permitted range.
Solution: Check the voltage of each string and make sure it remains below the inverter's maximum permitted value. Also take ambient temperature into account because module voltage rises at low outdoor temperatures.

Error 203 – PV insulation resistance too low
Cause: A short circuit or leakage path exists between the positive/negative conductors and earth.
Solution: Measure the insulation resistance of the strings. If it is below 50 kΩ, a leakage fault may be present; check the cable connections. If the wiring is not the cause, contact support so a warranty case can be opened with the manufacturer.
