Why does the energy storage inverter show “No AC Connection” (Error 302)?
Analysis: The unit has no grid connection.
Solution: Check whether the wiring between the grid and the unit is correct and whether all connections are reliable.
Why does the energy storage inverter show “AC V Outrange” or “AC F Outrange” (Error 300 / Error 304)?
Analysis: The energy storage inverter sets permitted grid voltage and frequency according to the applicable safety requirements for the selected country or region. This error occurs when the connected grid voltage or frequency is outside that permitted range.
Solution: Check whether the grid voltage or frequency is above the upper limit or below the lower limit of the permitted range.
Why does the energy storage inverter show Error 418?
Analysis: Different energy storage inverter models use their own firmware versions. This error occurs if the firmware programmed into the unit does not match the model.
Solution: Check whether the correct software version is installed. If not, the correct firmware must be programmed to resolve the problem.
Why does the energy storage inverter show “BMS COM Fault” (Error 500)?
Analysis: In lithium-battery mode, the inverter must communicate with the battery via the communication cable. If communication fails, the unit displays a BMS communication fault.
Solution: Check the communication wiring between the energy storage inverter and the battery.
Why does the energy storage inverter show “Bat Voltage Low” or “Bat Voltage High” (Error 502)?
Analysis: In lead-acid mode, upper and lower battery-voltage limits must be configured. The error occurs when battery voltage is outside this range.
Solution: Set the correct battery-voltage range in the energy storage inverter.
Why does the energy storage inverter show “Battery Reversed” (Error 505)?
Analysis: The positive and negative battery terminals must match the polarity markings on the inverter.
Solution: Check whether the battery positive and negative terminals have been reversed.
Why does the energy storage inverter show “Battery Open” (Error 506)?
Analysis: In lithium-battery mode this error can occur when communication between inverter and battery is working but the battery power connection is open.
Solution: Check that the battery positive and negative terminals are securely connected to the inverter.
Why does the unit show Warning 401?
Analysis: Under some safety configurations the inverter must be connected to an electricity meter. The warning occurs if the required meter is not connected.
Solution: Check whether the meter is connected and whether communication between the meter and the energy storage inverter is working correctly.
Why does the energy storage inverter show “NTC OPEN”?
Analysis: In lead-acid mode, the NTC temperature sensor must be connected to the corresponding terminal. This error occurs when the NTC is not connected.
Solution: Check that the NTC terminal is properly connected to the energy storage inverter.
What is the DRMS function of the energy storage inverter?
DRMS is used for demand-response or power scheduling. The corresponding DRMS control code can be used to limit grid input and output power.
Function and connection of the dual meter
A dual meter can be connected to monitor inverter and energy-storage power as required. On the LCD, select the corresponding meter setting under “Mode change → Sensor → Meter”. Connect the meter via “CT1/METER1” and the appropriate “485-1” or “485-2” communication port.
Why does the energy storage inverter show “Overload”?
Analysis: Each model has a maximum output-power limit. This error occurs when the unit is overloaded.
Solution: Check whether the connected load exceeds the permitted output and reduce it to the rated range of the inverter.
