BYD | Unexpected Shutdown

The system was commissioned successfully and operated for some time, but later shut down unexpectedly.

Communication with the inverter
The battery operates only with a compatible external inverter. If communication between battery and inverter is interrupted for any reason, the battery switches itself off within approximately 30 minutes. Check which device switched off first, battery or inverter, and whether the inverter is detecting the battery correctly, for example whether SOC and battery temperature are displayed correctly.

Battery log data / historical data
Intermittent faults can be difficult to identify because they occur only occasionally. Download and provide all available historical battery logs so the cause can be analysed.

Inverter messages / inverter portal data
Unexpected shutdown can also be caused by general system settings. The inverter data therefore needs to be evaluated as well.

• Check which error messages are shown in the inverter or portal.
• Where required for the service process, share access to the inverter portal by adding info@eft-systems.de and provide the system name used in the portal.
