Anmeldeservice - Exklusiv für unsere Kunden

inutec, specialised in solar systems for 30 years, complements its extensive product range with a registration service exclusively for customers: affordable and from a single source.

Would you like to generate sustainable electricity, become more independent from energy suppliers and contribute to environmental protection?

If you are considering investing in a rooftop solar system with a good price-performance ratio, one hurdle can be the required registration of the solar system. The original article explains that this registration must be carried out by a registered master electrician when the inverter exceeds the threshold stated there. Finding an available electrical contractor can involve long waiting times and high costs.

inutec has specialised in solar systems for 30 years and the article introduces a registration service, available exclusively to customers who purchase the relevant system components.

The service is aimed at customers who purchase the essential components – solar panels, battery storage and inverter – or a complete solar system from manufacturers such as SMA, Victron Energy, Qcells, SolaX or Sofar Solar.

Registration of solar systems

The article explains the registration requirements that applied when it was written, including registration with the responsible grid operator and entry in the German Market Master Data Register (Marktstammdatenregister). Requirements and procedures can differ by region and grid operator.

The registration service is intended to make this process easier for customers. Where requested, the service can also include registration of the solar system in the Market Master Data Register. The Market Master Data Register entry can also be completed by the system operator directly.

Why register a solar system at all?

Registration enables the grid operator to integrate a grid-connected solar system into the public electricity grid. Electricity generated by the system can be consumed directly, stored in a battery or, depending on the system and applicable rules, fed into the public grid for remuneration. Off-grid systems that cannot feed into the public grid are treated differently.

Why do solar systems have to be entered in the Market Master Data Register?

Operators of solar systems are required under the applicable German energy framework to register their installation in the Market Master Data Register within the relevant deadline after commissioning. The nationwide register serves as a central database for energy-market installations and is intended to standardise reporting obligations.
