Detailed description

Optimise your existing FOX ESS storage system: CS2900 expansion module

The powerful Fox ESS CS2900 high voltage PV storage system offers a storage capacity of 2.88 kWh and is a module for the stackable Energy Cube. Thanks to the modular design of the Fox ESS storage system, a total of 7 PV storage modules with 2.88 kWh each can be stacked on top of each other to achieve a capacity of 20.16 kWh. Regardless of the number of modules you install, a CM2900 module must be installed for the Energy Cube as this contains the BMS.

The total height of the PV storage system is only 0.95 m at maximum module utilisation and therefore fits comfortably in a free niche in or around the house. The modules can be extended at any time, giving you the independence to configure and expand your storage system.

Thanks to the plug & play installation, the CS2900 high-voltage PV storage system is quickly put into operation. The individual PV storage modules are simply and wirelessly plugged into each other. The data cable and the battery connection cable are supplied with a length of 1.2 metres each. This means that no further cables are required for commissioning.

Important: At least 2 PV storage modules are required for operation with the Fox ESS H1 hybrid inverter, the CM2900 base module and the CS2900 battery module (together at least 5.76 kWh).

Can be used anywhere and for a long time

Thanks to its high IP 65 protection rating, the CS2900 high-voltage PV storage system is suitable for outdoor installation and can therefore also be operated in a garage or under a canopy. The particularly wide operating range of -10°C to +55°C (from approx. 0°C/15°C only discharged) ensures flexible use all year round.

The CS2900 PV storage system consists of cycle-resistant and safe LiFePO4 HV batteries, which achieve over 6000 cycles and have a depth of discharge of 90%.

The prismatic LFP cells for energy storage ensure a long service life. They also offer the highest level of safety compared to other lithium and cell technologies.
With natural convection cooling, quieter operation and a longer service life can be achieved.

If a problem occurs with the PV storage system after 8 years, for example, Fox ESS will supply a replacement free of charge. The PV storage tank is also compatible with the hot water heaters from my-PV. This means you can also heat your water with your PV system.
