In 2014, Trina Solar achieved another significant milestone by delivering over 1 GW of solar energy capacity per quarter. In the same year, they broke the world record for solar cell efficiency seven times consecutively.

Up to the present day, a total of 16 world records for solar cell efficiency and module performance have been achieved at the State Key Laboratory of PV Science and Technology.
