PowerAssist Function
The Victron Energy MultiPlus-II prevents a limited AC power source, such as a generator or shore power connection, from becoming overloaded. First, the battery charging process is automatically reduced to protect against overload. Next, the output of a generator or shore power supply is boosted with energy from the battery.
AC Power Even During a Grid Outage
In the event of a grid fault, or if shore power or an onboard generator is interrupted, the Multi's inverter switches on automatically and takes over supplying the connected loads. The switchover happens so fast (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is guaranteed.
Remote Monitoring and Control
You can monitor and control your Multi and your system(s) locally (LAN) or remotely from anywhere in the world via the internet, using the free VRM app and the free VRM Portal website. Access is possible via a phone, tablet, laptop or PC running a wide range of operating systems. There are countless control options: with the required Color Control GX or Venus GX, you can, for example, adjust your Multi's settings or have a backup generator start automatically.
As a battery inverter, the Victron MultiPlus II communicates with many batteries (e.g. Pylontech batteries for 48V inverters), solar chargers and other devices to control grid-connected or off-grid power installations.
