The innovative FLEXmax
The MPPT software algorithm is both continuous and active, increasing the yield of your photovoltaic system by up to 30% compared to non-MPPT controllers. Thanks to active cooling and intelligent thermal management, both FLEXmax charge controllers can be operated at their full rated current of 60 A or 80 A at ambient temperatures of up to 40 °C.
All FLEXmax charge controllers include the revolutionary features first developed by OutBack Power, including support for a wide range of nominal battery voltages and the ability to step down a higher-voltage solar array to charge a lower-voltage battery bank. A built-in, backlit 80-character display shows the current status and, at the touch of a button, logged system performance data for the last 128 days. Integrated OutBack network communication enables remote programming and monitoring of FLEXmax series charge controllers via a MATE system display, providing unique system integration.
