Returns & Shipping Damage
Here you will find the most important practical information about returns, technical equipment and shipping damage. These instructions do not restrict your statutory withdrawal or defect rights.
Return address for goods
Please send returns only with sufficient postage or freight paid to:
MMR Logistik c/o inutec
Senefelderstraße 7A
33100 Paderborn
Germany
Do not send goods to the company address in Schladen. You can still send your withdrawal notice to the contact details stated in the withdrawal policy or by email to kontakt@inutec-int.com.
For a valid withdrawal, you bear the direct return shipping costs in accordance with the current withdrawal policy. Do not send goods carriage forward and ensure that they are packed securely for transport.
Technical equipment before return
Before returning inverters, battery storage, battery management systems, EV chargers, meters, control equipment or other technical devices, please provide a short written confirmation:
- Was the device installed, connected or commissioned?
- Was a password, user account, cloud or app access created, or was the device registered?
- If so, was the device fully reset to factory settings and were personal credentials and links removed?
- Are operating hours, energy meter values, logs or other signs of commissioning still present or visible?
This information helps us assess the condition and any possible loss in value correctly. A technically personalised or visibly operated device can often no longer be sold as new. Any compensation for loss in value is not charged as a flat rate, but only where the legal requirements are met and on the basis of an actual, demonstrable loss in value.
What should you do in the event of shipping damage?
- Record damage on delivery: If the packaging, pallet or goods are visibly damaged, ask the driver or carrier, where possible, to record the specific damage immediately on the electronic proof of delivery or freight document.
- Take photos before unpacking: Photograph the complete shipment, the damaged areas and the shipping label or freight label.
- Check the entire shipment: Unpack it promptly where this can be done safely. Photograph the inner packaging, cushioning and damaged goods as well. Visibly damaged electrical equipment or batteries must not be put into operation.
- Report it as soon as possible: Send the order number, delivery date, a short description of the damage and clear photos to kontakt@inutec-int.com.
- Keep the packaging: Do not dispose of the packaging, pallet or transport materials until the matter has been clarified.
Damage that was not initially visible from the outside should also be reported and documented immediately after discovery. Prompt documentation makes processing easier and helps preserve claims against the carrier or supplier. For consumers, however, immediate reporting or documentation is not a condition for statutory withdrawal or defect rights.
Information for businesses and commercial customers
The statutory withdrawal policy applies only to consumers. If the purchase is a commercial transaction for both parties, the statutory inspection and notification obligations under Section 377 of the German Commercial Code (HGB) may apply. Business customers should therefore inspect the goods immediately after delivery and promptly report both visible damage and concealed damage discovered later to inutec. Separate settlement with the carrier or supplier is required only after prior agreement with inutec.
Refund after bank transfer
If you paid by bank transfer and a refund is due or has already been approved, please also provide the account holder's name and IBAN. This allows the refund to be processed without unnecessary follow-up questions.
Withdrawal, defects and goodwill
A defect or fault is not a normal withdrawal case. Statutory defect rights remain unaffected by the withdrawal period. If the withdrawal period for fault-free goods has already expired, a voluntary goodwill return can be reviewed. If such a return is approved, the refund is issued as a credit with no expiry date; a cash refund is not provided for this voluntary goodwill return.
