The MultiPlus-II is the combination of a MultiPlus-II inverter and battery charger. It has a 2 x 16 character display, on which you can read inverter, battery and solar charge controller parameters (also accessible via smartphone).
An inverter / charger with built-in device networking, the Victron MultiPlus-II communicates with many batteries (such as Pylontech batteries), solar chargers and other devices to control a grid-connected, off-grid or remote power installation.
Here is the list of compatible batteries.
The device is capable of parallel operation for increased power output or battery charge-rates. The Victron Energy MultiPlus-II GX can also be configured for three-phase supply.
Lots of features can be controlled from your smartphone:
Applications
The Victron MultiPlus-II 48V 3000VA 35-32 230V is suited for applications where additional interfacing with other products and/or remote monitoring is necessary, like on-grid or off-grid energy storage systems (ESS) and some mobile applications.
The device can be connected to up to two PV inverters. The power of an inverter should not exceed 3kW to maintain balance.
The Victron Energy MultiPlus-II uses excess DC power to charge batteries or to feed back power into the grid. Conversely, it can also discharge the battery and use the power from the grid to compensate for a shortage of DC power.
Another important advantage: The MultiPlus can also form a three-phase network, be connected to other MPII devices and generate a lot of power together.
In the event of a power outage, the device will disconnect the grid and continue to supply the loads. Switching is so fast that electronic devices continue to operate without interruption.
