The MultiPlus-II by Victron Energy prevents a limited AC power source such as a generator or shore power connection from being overloaded. First, the battery charging process is automatically reduced to protect against overload. Next, the output of a generator or shore power supply is amplified with energy from the battery. The Multiplus II works with many kinds of batteries.
Alternating current even in case of power failure
In case of a grid error or if the shore power or on-board generator is interrupted, the inverter of the Multis is automatically switched on and takes over the supply of the connected consumers. The switch-over occurs so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic equipment is guaranteed.
Remote monitoring and control
You can monitor and control your Multi and your system(s) locally (LAN) or remotely from anywhere in the world via the Internet using the free VRM App and the free VRM Portal website. Access can be via a phone, tablet, laptop or PC with a variety of operating systems. There are countless control options: With the required Color Control GX or Venus GX you can, for example, adjust your Multi or have a backup generator start automatically.
Further product highlights
As an inverter / charger, the Victron MultiPlus communicates with many batteries (e.g. Pylontech batteries), solar chargers and other devices in order to control the grid-connected or off-grid power installation.
