Victron Energy MultiPlus 48/5000/70-100 230V VE.Bus
**Free shipping** with code: Victron
This device is also available in a 3000VA version for operation on 48Volt battery storage systems such as those compatible batteries.
As it also has a lightning-fast 100A transfer switch in addition to the inverter and charger, it is an ideal inverter for mobile homes, boats or yachts and the grid-connected uninterruptible power supply in the case of grid fluctuations or power outages. Also for use in grid-connected self-consumption systems that only draw power from the supplier when the battery power is no longer sufficient or as a UPS solution.
Essential performance features of the Multiplus 48/5000 / 70-100
- 4000W continuous power and 10,000W peak power, for 48V battery voltage (e.g.Pylontech)
- Device combination of inverter with transfer switch and 70A battery charger
- supplies the purest 230V sinus voltage and a clean 50Hz frequency
- VE.Bus communication port provides extensive networking options.
- supports three-phase operation (3 identical units of the same model required)
- Multiplus devices can be switched in parallel
- 2 AC outputs from Multiplus 3000 and larger. Devices can then be connected to the second output - that only run when mains power is available
- PowerControl function enables working with limited generator power as well as limited shore or grid
power
- PowerAssist function enables “performance increase” of generators and shore connection support in
case of need
- Can be used as a UPS solution for an uninterruptible power supply
- Can be used for grid-connected self-consumption systems that only draw power from the grid
operator when the battery capacity is insufficient
- Three-phase operation possible with identical MultiPlus inverters
Massive performance expansion possible
Aside from being connected in parallel, three units of the same model can be configured for three-phase output.
PowerControl - Working with limited generator power, limited shore or grid power
The Victron Energy MultiPlus is a very powerful battery charger. Therefore it takes a lot of electricity from the generator or the shore power supply. The maximum mains or generator current to be drawn can be set with the Multi Control remote control panel. The MultiPlus then takes other connected AC loads into account and only uses the electricity that is “left over” for charging.
PowerAssist - "performance increase" of generators and shore connection support
With this function, the PowerControl principle takes on a new dimension. It enables the MultiPlus to support under-designed alternative sources. Load peaks often only occur for a limited period of time. In such a case, the MultiPlus ensures that insufficient shore power or generator power is immediately compensated by energy from the battery.
BackUp system: alternating current even in the event of a power failure
The MultiPlus can be used with non-grid-connected and grid-connected PV systems as well as with other alternative energy systems. Software is available to detect a power failure.
Simple system configuration
If settings need to be changed on a stand-alone device, this can be done in a matter of minutes using a DIP switch setting procedure. Three-phase systems connected in parallel can be configured with the VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator software.
The device can be connected to up to two PV inverters. The power of an inverter should not exceed 3kW to maintain balance.
On-site monitoring options and control
Several options are available: battery monitor, multi control panel, Ve.Net Blue Power panel, color control panel, smartphone or tablet (Bluetooth Smart), laptop or computer (USB or RS232).
Remote monitoring and control
Victron Ethernet Remote, Victron Global Remote and the Color Control Panel enable remote maintenance and remote monitoring of the MultiPlus.
Remote configuration
If systems with a color control panel are connected, settings can be changed remotely.
