    The DAC1-13VG series with 12.5kA discharge capacity per pole is a space-saving and inexpensive solution for buildings of lightning protection classes III + IV. Thanks to the integrated CITEL VG technology, the DAC1-13VG, as a combined arrester type 1 + 2 + 3, combines all three protection classes in one device and thus offers optimal protection against lightning currents and overvoltages. The DAC1-13VG also meet the minimum requirements for type 1 lightning arresters according to VDE 0100-534 with a required discharge capacity of 12.5kA (10/350). The DAC1-13VG meet the VDN guidelines for lightning protection classes III + IV and can therefore be used in the pre-meter area. This makes the DAC1-13VG series ideally suited for installation in private, small and medium-sized commercial buildings.
