Victron Energy Smart BMS 12/200 - Battery Management

The Smart BMS CL 12/100 with a dedicated generator input is a battery management system for intelligent lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) from Victron. It was specially developed for 12V systems with a 12V generator.

The special electronics behind the generator input ensure current limitation and one-way traffic from the generator to the battery, so that a generator (and a starter battery) of any size can be safely connected to the smart lithium battery or batteries.

No current can flow from the Victron LiFePO4 battery back to the starter battery.

The battery Management System is also equipped with a remote on / off connector to turn off the BMS (and the system) via a remote switch, and a pre-alarm contact to give a warning signal before the BMS disconnects the batteries from the system.
