The Quattro 48/15000 is a combination
of a 48V 15000W sine wave inverter, an extremely powerful
battery charger and a transfer switch. It has two AC outputs and two AC inputs, each of which is equipped with a 100A transfer switch. The Quattro can conveniently be connected to two independent power sources, with the Quattro automatically connecting
to the active power source.
The Quattro is designed so that the main output takes over the entire supply of the connected devices in the event of a power failure, etc. This guarantees an uninterrupted power supply because the Quattro takes over the power supply in a fraction of a second, so that a failure of electrical devices such as a computer is not registered. An interruption of work is therefore impossible. The second output only provides power if AC power is available at one of the Quattro's inputs.
The firmly integrated and just as powerful battery charger delivers an impressive 200A, with which even large batteries can be charged. With the integrated 48V sine voltage converter, the battery current is converted into 230V AC. Due to the sine wave, connection to sensitive electronic devices is also suitable. Each AC input has a 100A transfer switch. This also ensures a multitude of applications in grid-connected operation.
Parallel connection and 3-phase configuration
The Quattro enables up to six devices to be connected in parallel, so that, for example, six 48/15000/ 200 units generate an output of 54 kW / 60 kVA or 840 A charging current. Three units can be switched in a 3-phase configuration. You can even connect up to six sets of three devices in parallel.
The Quattro integrates a very powerful battery charger. It draws a lot of current from the generator or shore power supply, the maximum output of which can be set with the Multi Control control panel. The Quattro even takes other connected electronic devices into account and only uses the electricity that is "left" for charging. This prevents the generator or shore power connection from being overloaded.
The PowerAssist with the PowerControl enables the Quattro to support alternative sources that are too weak. At peak loads, the Quattro ensures that weak power output is bridged using battery power.
The Quattro 48/15000 can be used in both off-grid and grid-connected PV systems as well as in many other alternative energy systems. Software to detect a power failure is available.
Simple system configuration
Setting on a single device can be done in a few minutes using a DIP switch setting procedure. Parallel and three-phase systems can be configured using the VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator software.
Monitoring options and control
The Quattro 48/15000 can be monitored and controlled both on site and remotely, among other things. with battery monitor, Multi Control Panel, Ve.Net Blue Power Panel, Color Control Panel, smartphone or tablet (Bluetooth Smart), laptop or computer (USB or RS232) or Victron Ethernet Remote, Victron Global Remote and the Color Control Panel for the Remote control.
If systems with a color control panel are connected to the Ethernet, they can be accessed and settings can be changed remotely.
