Solar storage batteries
Today LiFePO4 - lithium storage batteries are preferably used, as they have a larger working area than lead-acid batteries. Lithium batteries have a discharge depth of up to 10%. - Depth of Discharge (DoD)
Solar storage tank low voltage
Battery packs that work with 48 volt operating voltage are common here. 12V or 24V storage batteries are available for mobile applications.
Expandable storage systems can be interconnected to form an overall system> 900 kW.
Battery management (BMS) are used for this.
Solar storage tank high voltage
The storage solutions are operated in the range of several hundred volts.
With this storage technology, each HV storage battery requires its own BMS.
Lead-carbon batteries
Lead-carbon batteries are maintenance-free and have a long service life.
They can be used optimally in a wide range of applications. The batteries can withstand temperatures of -40 ° C up to temperatures of + 65 ° C.
They have a very good cycle capability and can be recharged extremely quickly.
